Our classic Monadnock region venues enhance the experience, offering big screen as well as cozy, intimate settings. Well known not only for its vintage aesthetic but live shows, the Colonial Theatre in downtown Keene will have showings all weekend of feature documentaries, short films and more. Stick around after some films for discussions! Also located downtown is the Hannah Grimes Center, a unique smorgasbord of creative work space, marketplace, event center and programs. Utilizing the space, MONIFF has panel discussion going on at the Hannah Grimes Center.

While still in Keene enjoying the festival, head over to Keene State College’s Putnam Theatre for more showings along with some Q&A with the creators. On Sunday morning you might catch some of the free and ticketed showings of films at Keene Cinemas before heading to the Peterborough Community Theatre. This independently owned theatre is not only the oldest movie theater in the state, but also a great place to see all of the highlighted films from the festival at the Best of Fest event!
